Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has offered Jadon Sancho the opportunity to reignite his career at the club. This comes after a public feud between the two earlier in the season, which led to Sancho being loaned out to Borussia Dortmund in January.
After a fresh round of talks, Ten Hag confirmed that Sancho is now back in contention for playing time. The manager stated, “As we said, we draw the line. Manchester United need good players and Jadon is a good player. We have drawn that line and we move on.”
While there were previous reports that United would be open to selling Sancho this summer, the club’s focus has now shifted. They are now looking to offload other first-team players, such as Mason Greenwood, to raise funds for new signings.
United’s primary transfer targets this window include a new center-back, midfielder, and left-back. Talks are underway with Bayern Munich over Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt, and the club is also waiting on a decision from Lille’s Leny Yoro, who is also a target for Real Madrid.
The decision to reintegrate Sancho into the squad represents a fresh start for the 24-year-old winger at Manchester United. Ten Hag appears willing to give him another chance to prove his worth and contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season.
